Sports TV Ratings for August 23rd 2025
The NRL continued its late season Saturday night tv adventures rating an average of 483k for Saturday nights Eels/Roosters.
Nine followed this up with the EPL rating 326k in its second broadcast – with one more to come. The Sydney Morning Herald noted that the same fixture was also the most viewed football match ever on Stan Sport, and the second most viewed live event on the platform, after the Rugby World Cup final in 2023.
So far this season Saturday Night #NRL has an aggregate rating of 1.642m (2024: 1.5m) on Nine at an average of 445k per match (2024: 375k). This is up 18.6% YoY on average.
