- Demons (AFL) – Melbourne will play a game a year in Alice Springs through to 2026. The Demons’ connection with the Northern Territory dates back to 2010 in Darwin and since 2014 in Alice Springs
Ballarat, Vic
- Bulldogs (AFL). THE WESTERN Bulldogs have extended their partnership with the City of Ballarat for the next three years, through to 2027. The deal started in 2017. The Bulldogs will play two home games per season for the next three years after inking a new deal with Visit Victoria and the City of Ballarat.
Bathurst, NSW
Bunbury, WA
- Kangaroos (AFL). The three-year agreement will see the club play one match at Optus Stadium in Perth and one match at Hands Oval in Bunbury as the home team against West Coast and Fremantle for the next three seasons. The deal is worth 2.5m.
Bundarberg, QLD
- Bulldogs (NRL). 2025 is the final year in a three-year deal with Bundaberg Regional Council and the Canterbury-Bankstown Bulldogs, which began in 2022 and forms part of the NRL Telstra Premiership Footy Country Series
Canberra, ACT
- Giants (AFL) – The ACT Government has extended its agreement with the AFL and the GWS Giants for a further 10 years in a deal worth $2.85 per annum through to 2032. The agreement includes:
- At least three AFL Premiership matches at Manuka Oval each year (with an option to purchase a fourth match annually should it become available)
- One pre-season match annually (if pre-season games are scheduled by the AFL)
- Up to two AFLW Premiership matches at Manuka Oval per year (plus another where the schedule allows)
Cairns, QLD
- Formerly St Kilda (AFL), last match played in 2022, deal cancelled by club after review. Previously Richmond had played home matches there.
Christchurch, NZ
- Warriors (NRL) – The Warriors will be back in Christchurch for the next three years! One NZ Warriors and Venues Ōtautahi have confirmed the extension of their partnership through to 2028 – meaning One New Zealand Stadium will be hosting the Warriors for the next three years
Darwin, NT
- Suns (AFL) – In collaboration with Northern Territory Major Events Company (NTMEC), the Northern Territory Government and the AFL, the SUNS have agreed to play two matches in the NT each year through to 2026. The Suns have played there since 2020, previously the Demons since 2014.
- Dolphins (NRL) – The Dolphins, in partnership with the Northern Territory Government, have today announced an agreement that will see the Dolphins play a regular season home game in Darwin for the next three years through 2028. Previously, the Eels had played there for 12 years.
Hobart, Tas
- Kangaroos (AFL). North Melbourne’s AFL team will host 2 games in 2025 and then completely exit Tasmania at the end of 2025 in anticipation of the Devils’ arrival in 2028.
Launceston, Tas
- Hawks (AFL). The Hawks’ deal has been extended by another two years until the end of the 2027 season, with the Tasmanian Devils joining the AFL in 2028. The extension means that the Hawks will continue to host four home matches per season at UTAS Stadium in Launceston. The Hawks began playing in Launceston in 2001.
Mudgee, NSW
- Panthers (NRL) – Mid-Western Regional Council is also thrilled to have the Penrith Panthers playing an NRL Telstra Premiership Match at Glen Willow Stadium over the next two years in 2025 and 2026. The first game will take place on 22 August 2025 at 6.00pm against the Canberra Raiders.
Napier, NZ
- Formerly Warriors (NRL). Last played in 2023.
Tamworth, NSW
- Formerly Wests Tigers (NRL) – ended their 6 year arrangement to play there in 2024, no fixture announced for 2025.
