- 2002, Sept 30 – The Warriors’ big match delivered Sky Television its second highest ratings – just behind the All Blacks. Live coverage of the league semifinal attracted a peak audience of 503,000, compared with the 506,000 who watched the second Bledisloe Cup test in August.
- 2018, May 4. The Warriors’ impressive start to the NRL season has had a direct impact on the interest of rugby league in New Zealand, with television ratings for the team up 20 per cent in the country. Fresh off the back of the best start to an NRL season since 2002, 26,000 more people are tuning into Warriors games via Sky Sports TV than last year.
- 2020, June 16th – The pay-TV broadcaster revealed on Tuesday that a combined 750,000 New Zealanders watched the Highlanders v Chiefs and Blues v Hurricanes games in Super Rugby Aotearoa and the Warriors-Cowboys NRL game in Australia on Friday night. Those figures are a combination of viewers on Sky, Sky Sport Now, Sky Go and free-to-air on Prime, but do not include viewers who watched the games in pubs and clubs throughout the country. The Super Rugby figures represented a 91 per cent increase on the average audience.
- 2023, June 17. While Sky TV, the broadcast partner of NZR and the exclusive New Zealand provider of the NRL, does not make its ratings public an executive speaking under anonymity said that the Warriors impressive victory over Canberra last weekend rated well below any of the four Super Rugby playoffs
- 2023. Sept 12. Sky Twitter says there were 1.7 MILLION viewers across #SkySportNZ and #SkyOpen last weekend. 1 million watched the All Blacks (10K in te reo!) and 700k watched the Warriors. However, those numbers do not take into account any additional viewership from Sky Sport Now, which Sky was unable to provide Newshub.
