The total reach across Seven (VOZ) of 4.315 million, combined with the 1.2 million watching Fox Sports and KAYO, saw the Great Race reach 5.515 million viewers, in addition to record social and digital reach growing by more than 40 per cent.
Across the live race broadcast, the total television audience averaged more than two million viewers nationally (over 7 hours of the race) — with 1.544 million on Seven Network and a further 459,000 on Foxtel Group.
Seven
The Seven Network’s coverage of the Supercars Championship Repco Bathurst 1000
had its biggest audience since 2016, with more than 4.32 million people tuning in for the
Great Race alone on Seven and 7plus Sport on Sunday.
The dramatic rain-drenched race, which saw Matt Payne and Garth Tander cross the line
second but claim victory, had a total TV audience of 1.54 million – up 31% on the 2024
race. The audience on 7plus Sport was a record Supercars audience for the streaming
platform at 211,000 – double last year’s audience.
The race was also the #1 program on Sunday in total people, 25 to 54s, 16 to 39s and
grocery shoppers.
Across the entire Repco Bathurst 1000 weekend, more than 5.9 million tuned in on Seven
and 7plus Sport, with Day Three Supports/Warm Up reaching 2.29 million, Day Two
Supports reaching 1.5 million and Day Two Top 10 Shootout reaching 1.52 million.
Across the three days, more than 155 million minutes of Bathurst 1000 action was
streamed on 7plus Sport, with 7plus scoring a 58.9% share of BVOD on Sunday.
Foxtel
Bathurst 1000 on Sunday 12 October has become the most streamed Supercars race of all time on Kayo SPORTS, up 19% year-on-year, as fans watched Garth Tander and Matt Payne clinch an action-packed victory for Ford at Mount Panorama.
Across the race, fans streamed a total of 189 million minutes of LIVE action as Tander celebrated his sixth Bathurst 1000 victory, and the young Payne secured his first.
Total audiences across all Foxtel Group platforms including Kayo SPORTS, FOXTEL and FOXTEL Now were up 15% year-on-year.
Digital
Digital platforms also delivered enormous growth, surging more than 40 per cent year-on-year. Supercars.com recorded over 5.3 million page views across the weekend, including two million on Sunday alone and more than 500,000 users.

- Total Video Views: 44.3 million – a 209% increase on 2024 (14.3 million).
