AFL, NRL, Supernetball and the Wallabies wrap up against Wales – Saturday Crowds and TV, July 13th 2024

263,369 people were reported attending professional sport on Saturday at an average of 29,263 per match

Five matches were played across the AFL on Saturday

  • Hawks/Dockers 11,146 at UTAS Stadium (59% of capacity)
  • Swans/Roos 34,663 at the SCG (72% of capacity)
  • Dogs/Blues 45,387 at Marvel Stadium (81% of capacity)
  • Dees/Bombres 52,866 at the MCG (53% of capacity)
  • Crows/Saints 34,549 at Adelaide Oval (65% of capacity)

Saturday night coverage on Seven was split between Adelaide and the rest of the country, with the national game being the Dees and Bombres, while SA took the Crows/Saints feed. The combined average wasnt bad for Saturday night with an average of 512,000 and a reach of 1.506 million

Two matches were played in an abbreviated NRL Saturday,

  • Titans/Eels 16,670 at Cbus Super Stadium (60% of capacity)
  • Broncos/Dragons 34,224 at Suncorp Stadium (65% of capacity)

Unfortunately NRL matches at this time of the year arent shown on Nine on Saturday.

The Wallabies wrapped up their 2 match series against Wales in Melbourne drawing 21,932 to Aami Park (73% capacity) . The match was watched by 459,000 on Nine with a reach of 1.242 million.

A big crowd of 11,932 turned out for the Fevers game against the Mavericks in the Supernetball. (85% of capacity)

  • Sevens Horseracing 111,000 ave (625,000 rch)
  • Tour De France Stage 14 (SBS) 225,000 ave (744,000 rch)
  • Wimbledon Day 13 (Nine) – Late 285,000 ave (550,000 rch)
