Friday Night AFL was the highest viewed sporting clash of the night (at least on FTA tv) as an average audience of 667,000 tuned in to the Seven network, with a reach of 1.881 million, up against steep competition from the NRL and the Matildas.
Friday night AFL on Seven has been watched by 7.617 million this season at an average of 635,000 with an average reach of 1.911 million.
Saturday night AFL rated 527,000 on the Seven Network, reaching an audience of 1.548 million. Saturday afternoon coverage rated 169,000 in Adelaide and Perth, with a reach audience of 429,000.
