It was a record attendance for the NRL this week with 179,337 attending at an average of22,417. The season average remains over 20,000 as the league sets its sights on breaking last yearws record with attendances up nearly 10% on the same time last year.
ANZAC Day had three fixtures this year, instead of two as the NRL moved to celebrate ANZAC day in both Australia and New Zealand, while also maintaining the recently established Melbourne ANZAC Day clash and the traditional Dragons/Roosters games
