Sevens Friday Night Football averaged 522,000 viewers in the metro area, including 51,000 in Sydney on 7mate and 282,000 in Melbourne on 7. This was the highest rating metro audience on a Friday night for the year, but third behind the season opener (547.000) and ANZAC Day (614,000).
The match rated 275,000 on Foxfooty – the second highest rating on Subtv for the AFL in 2022, and the highest after the ANZAC Day match.
Last Fridays clash between Collingwood and the Western Bulldogs had a total estimated audience of 1.089m including 659,000 on Seven, and 231,000 on Foxfooty with an estimated Kayo audience of 200,000.

The late match between Parramatta and Manly was attended by 18,778 and rated an average audience of 288,000 in the metro areas on Nine, including a Sydney audience of 145,000. On Foxleague, the match averaged 254,000,
Last Friday, the late game between Manly and Brisbane rated an estimated total consolidated audience of 1.127m TV audience of 582,000 on Nine (including Metro, Regional and BVOD). The match also rated 294,000 on Foxtel set top boxes and an estimated Kayo audience of 252,000.
The early match last friday between Newcastle and Canterbury rated an estimated total of 441,000 including 232,000 on Foxtel STB and an estimated 209,000 on Kayo.
