The A-league
Wellington gained the most members this week up more than 370 to 4,547,but still with a firm grip on last place on the A-league Membership ladder which has Victory firmly on top. Overall the league gained more than 1,300 members this week as it edges towards the 110,000 mark for 2016-17.
Australian Football League
Geelong debuted on the Membership ladder this week, slotting straight into third place on the table, behind Hawthorn and West Coast who both made significant gains. Gold Coast however, added the most members this week of the incumbents with more than 5,500 members added to their tally as they process through the automatic membership rollovers.
National Rugby League
South Sydney and Gold Coast made the big gains this week, which ended with South Sydney taking top place on the NRL membership ladder with almost 3,400 members added this week, and knocking Brisbane out of top place for the first time – possibly ever.
Overall
The Hawks remain on top for the second week running, and AFL clubs now occupy the top 3 spots. Victory drop to fourth. South Sydney are the top ranked NRL team at 9th.
